Iridology

Iridology is the study of the Iris (the coloured part of your eye) in order to to determine genetic health and disease. Your Iris pattern is unique to you - just like your fingerprints. This uniqueness is now used by special security cameras which are able to identity individuals from their Iris pattern.

The Iris of the eye is a truly complex structure of the human body and it is this structure or rather the external nerve endings which is of interest to the Iridologist.

THE HISTORY OF IRIDOLOGY

In 1000BC the Babylonians carved stone tablets depicting the markings of the iris. The ancient greek physician Hippocrates (460BC) well known as the founder of Hippocratic medicine, practised iridology. During the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries Iridology was widely used as a diagnostic aid.

The modern revival of Iridology was promoted prinicipally by a Hungarian surgeon Ignaz Von Peczely (1826-1911). His followers included Bernard Jensen who trained under allopathic doctors such as F.W.Collins whose volumes 'The diagnosis of disease by observation of the eye' were publ;ished in 1919.

HOW DOES IT WORK ?

Nerve fibers in the iris respond to changes in body tissues by manifesting a feflex physiology that corresponds to specific tissue changes and locations. The iris reveals an individual's strengths and weaknesses and what has been done to the body through incorrect living habits. It also reveals good living habits.

Analysis of the delicate structures of the iris of the eye against a chart - rather like the face of a clock , reveals body constitution, inherent weaknesses, levels of health and the transitions that take place in a person's body according to the way he or she lives.

Iridology, which is also known as iridodiagnosis, is non-invasive, painless and safe. By finding out your potential weak areas, iridology is able to help you nip disease in the bud - long before symptoms appear.

Hi Jihan and everyone, I just found that I can join this message board - fun stuff! Finding Jihan and John has been a true blessing and thanks to Kathy B for leading me to them. May God continue to bless Kathy always!! and all God's blessings on Jihan and John. You have taught me to "never say never"...a big change from just accepting and dealing with what comes my way. I still "accept" but the "dealing" part is now with a different goal. Now I "never say never"!
